One of our favorite offerings at Soleus is introducing massage to those whom have never experienced it. Owner, Kimberly
Cowden comments: "It is common for people to have a bit of apprehension about their first massage. The receiver is allowing

Soleus Massage, established in 2004, is owned and operated by
Kimberly Cowden, who previously practiced in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
Kimberly received her training, and completed the 1000 hour program of
study at Tennessee Institute of Healing Arts, Chattanooga, TN in 2003.

Rob McNitt has been a respected massage therapist and upstanding
member of the ABMP since 1992. A graduate of the Minneapolis School of
Massage his training included the world renowned Esalen technique. He has
been established in the Tri Cities area since 1996.
An initial interest in geriatric and special needs clients led him to train as a
Red Cross CNA and Holistic Life Coach. He has been a Therapist at Soleus
since 2006. Rob specializes in Chair Massage events, which require advanced
notice, so call today!

Christina Stitt graduated from the national Massage Therapy Institute in
Wilmington, DE in 2007 and has been helping clients relieve pain and stress
ever since.
She has trained in several modalities including reflex points, deep tissue work
and Prenatal Massage. She enjoys working with both clients new to massage
and those looking to add massage as a continued part of their wellness plan.

Cathy Loosbrock is a 2005 graduate of the Baltimore School of
Massage. She previously practiced in Pennsylvania before joining the
Soleus team in 2012.
She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release
modalities and has training in pregnancy massage as well as Reiki.

Chyna Rose Borman graduated from Reflections School of Massage in
Johnson City TN 2011 and started with Soleus in 2012.
She enjoys providing relaxing massage with moderate to deep
techniques, incorporating stretching which help to relieve soreness
and restore mobility.

John Lord graduated from the Space Coast Health Institute in Melbourne, Florida in
2006. Before relocating to the Johnson City area in 2011 he provided medical
massage in both Chiropractic and Hospice settings.
With training ranging from light to deep tissue massage, as well as manual lymph
drainage, John provides clients with a One Hour Vacation that will give days of
continued relief and relaxation.
